ABOUT ME
Experience, safety and a people-first approach
My name is Peter Vasas, from YDR – Your Driver. I have several years of professional driving experience and have previously also worked as a truck driver.
Alongside driving, working with people has been an important part of my professional life. I have more than 25 years of experience in sales and customer service, so attentive communication, reliability and focusing on the needs of the customer and passenger are a natural part of the way I work.
I also have a qualification as a Buddhist teacher, which has greatly influenced my approach to people and the way I interact with others. Calmness, patience, attentiveness and respect for others are fundamental values for me, and values that I bring to my work every day.
I have driving experience throughout Europe as well as in other parts of the world, giving me broad experience across different countries, traffic environments and cultures. This has taught me to adapt quickly to different situations and conditions while always keeping the same priorities: safety, responsibility and calm driving.
In 2026, I have worked as a private driver and guide for international tourists in Norway. Through this work, I have gained good knowledge of Vestland and popular destinations including Bergen, Voss, Flåm, the Sognefjord and Geiranger.
I enjoy meeting people from different countries and cultures. For me, being a driver is about more than simply getting from A to B. I want my passengers to feel safe, comfortable and well looked after throughout the entire journey.
I hold driving licence categories A, B, C, CE, D, DE and T (T1–T4), as well as a valid YSK (Driver CPC) and Norwegian kjøreseddel. I am based in Vik, Vestland, and primarily take assignments within Vestland.
